Creation of Life:-
In the Bible, the sequence of creation of life started with vegetation on the
Third Day
Gen.1:11 " And God said, "Let the earth sprout vegetation: seed-bearing plants, fruit trees of every kind on earth that bear fruit with the seed in it." And it was so.
followed by living creatures in the waters and fowl of the air on the
Fifth Day Gen. 1:21 "God created the great sea monsters, and all the living creatures of every kind the creep, which the waters brought forth in swarms, and all the winged birds of every kind. And God saw that this was good.
then by all land creatures on the
Sixth Day Gen. 1:24 "God said, "Let the earth bring forth every kind of living creature: cattle, creeping things, and wild beasts of every kind." And it was so
as well as Mankind
Sixth Day Gen. 1:26 " And God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. They shall rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the cattle, the whole earth, and all the creeping things that creep on earth."
Gen. 2:7 " And God formed the man of dust from the ground, and He blew into his nostrils the soul of life; and man became a living being"
The Quran on the other hand, has a plethora of different creations for human kind, almost all of which contradict the Bible.
6: 2 He it is who created you from clay and then decreed a stated term (for you). And there is in His presence another determined term; yet ye doubt within yourselves!.
15: 26 We created man from sounding clay from mud molded into shape;
21: 30 Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of Creation) before We clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?
24: 45 And Allah has created every animal from water: of them there are some that creep on their bellies; some that walk on two legs; and some that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills: for verily Allah has power over all things
25: 53 It is He Who has let free the two bodies of flowing water: one palatable and sweet and the other salt and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them a partition that is forbidden to be passed.
*** There are no flowing bodies of water - as described above - anywhere on the face of the Earth that are separated by a barrier ***
25: 54 It is He Who has created man from water: then has He established relationships of lineage and marriage: for thy Lord has power (over all things).
39: 6 He created you (all) from a single person: then created of like nature his mate; and He sent down for you eight head of cattle in pairs: He makes you in the wombs of your mothers in stages one after another in three veils of darkness. Such is Allah your Lord and Cherisher: to Him belongs (all) dominion. There is no god but He: then how are ye turned away (from your true Center)?
*** These verses show very clearly that the Quranic version of the process of creation is completely and utterly inchoate, rambling, inconsistent and completely without foundation either in the Bible or anywhere else.
Its assertion that all living creatures were made from water is based on the fact that Muhammad misunderstood the Biblical verses that made it clear that they were created IN water and not FROM water.
Moreover, how could humanity had been created from a single person? It takes TWO, a male & female for the human species to be created?
These, as well as further numerous inexplicable verses, show a total misunderstanding and misrepresentation of the otherwise very clear Biblical verses indicating that these concepts and ideas were beyond the intellectual grasp of a semi literate and very superstitious Muhammad ***
Tabari 1:224 "each day of the six in which He created corresponds to 1000 years. The conclusion is that the time elapsed from when Allah first began creating His creatures to when He finished is 7000 years. As proved to us earlier with the help of evidential statements, there is a duration of 7000 years from the time when our Lord finished to the moment of annihilation"
*** The above was - as usual in Muhammadan Islam - plagiarised from the Bible:
Psalm 90:4 "For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night"
The total of seven thousand years is expressed most clearly in the non-canonical Book of the Secrets of Enoch , which is also called 2 Enoch .
2 Enoch 33:1-2 "And I appointed the eighth day also, that the eighth day should be the first-created after my work, and that the first seven revolve in the form of the seventh thousand, and that at the beginning of the eighth thousand there should be a time of not-counting, endless, with neither years nor months nor weeks nor days nor hours.
Neither al Tabari nor Muhammad were inspired with this logic because this - like most of the stories in the Quran - was plagiarised and perverted from Rabbincal writings in the Midrash where in it is suggested that one of God's days is equal to 1000 Earth years.
In fact, Tabari alludes as to the origin of where these ideas came from in
"….as proved to us earlier with the help of evidential
statements…"***
